Auditions

Whether you're looking to step into the spotlight or work behind the scenes, our auditions are open to all students. No experience? No problem! Everyone is welcome to showcase their talents.

Workshops and Masterclasses

Participate in workshops led by faculty, visiting artists, and alumni, covering topics like improvisation, movement, voice, articulation, and design. These sessions provide invaluable insights and skills.

Theatre Club

Transfer Opportunities

Courses in Drama at St. Philip’s College will transfer to Universities and Schools of Art throughout Texas and the U.S. to pursue a Baccalaureate degree. Students can also take this training in Theatre Education and Teacher Certification programs at a 4-year institution.

H-E-B Black Box Theatre

We are currently under construction and building our state-of-the-art, H-E-B Black Box Theatre with the latest in technical design features including a lighting grid comprised of aircraft cable that technicians can walk on and work on the lighting directly over the stage. We have an extremely impressive inventory of L.E.D. and robotic lighting instruments.
